ROCK WERCHTER INFORMATION

The campsite is situated in small areas outside the arena entrance, along a road filled with stalls selling things cheaper them the arena (and for cash). It opens at 9am on the first day of the festival, so other accommodation has to be found if you are arriving early. It closes on the Monday afternoon.

There is always a huge queue to get in early on this day; we once waited for hours in separate gender queues (for the bag searches). No glass, dogs, and weapons. There are a few showers in each campsite for a euro each, but the queues in the morning are quite bad.

The toilets at this festival are the cleanest I have ever seen; with free toilet roll.

There is a marquee selling beer and food until late, but this means it is quite noisy. There are also some little huts selling breakfast.
