Retrofest, now in its third year will be expanding to three days in 2009. This year it will take place at a new site Loudoun Castle Park, Galston, Ayrshire, Scotland from Friday 28th until Sunday 30th August.

There acts confirmed for 2009 include Midge Ure, Rick Astley, East 17, Nick Heyward, Bad Manners, Average White Band, Les McKeown's Bay City Rollers, Right Said Fred, Gary Mullen & The Works, Sash, Urban Cookie collective, Alex Party, Phats & Small, and Showaddywaddy. Expect acts from the late seventies to early nineties to play each day.

Tickets were on sale at a special early bird offer. Now the prices are as follows:
Adult weekend tickets: £80.
Teenagers weekend ticket (13 - 17 year olds): £40.
Child weekend ticket (5 - 12 year olds): £25.

Adult weekend with camping: £95.
Teenagers weekend ticket with camping (13 - 17 year olds): £47.
Child weekend with camping (5 - 12 year olds): £40.
Children under 5 (4 years and younger) go free but require a ticket.

Adult Friday evening ticket: £17.50.
Teenagers Friday evening ticket (13 - 17 year olds): £10.
Child Friday evening ticket (5 - 12 year olds) £5.

Adult day tickets Saturday or Sunday: £50.
Teenagers day ticket Saturday or Sunday (13 - 17 year olds): £25.
Child day ticket Saturday or Sunday (5 - 12 year olds) £15.

Attendees can expect a Club Tropicana Beach and Cocktail Bar, The Retro Ritz Acoustic Chill Out Cinema, Champagne Bar, The Retrofest Holistic Haven, 80s Discotheque, Headphone Disco, Entertainment Express Karaoke Club, Funfair, The Healthy Food Village, and Naughty but Nice Food Area.
