Purbeck Folk Festival is a family friendly event for 1,500 set in the Purbeck Hills, in Dorset and happening from Friday 24th until Monday 27th August 2012. The festival will once again be held at Wilkswood Farm in Langton Matravers, near Swanage, in Dorset.

Line-up

The latest acts announced are Shooglenifty, Rory McLeod, The Moulettes, The Jaywalkers, Mother Ukers, Andrew Scott, Carly Bryant, Penny Red, Quinns Quinney, Djambo, Fearne, Willowen, Krista Green, Pachango, Dorset Ceilidh Band, Emily Kraemer, and Thirsty Man.

They join KT Tunstall as Saturday headliner, Monster Ceilidh Band, Trembling Bells, Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin, The Roving Crows, Catherine Burke, Polly Barrett, The Portraits, Pete Christie, The Yirdbards, Owl In The Sun, Larkin Poe, The Destroyers, The Old Dance School, The Moulettes, Hat Fitz & Cara Robinson, Old Man Luedecke, Gilmore:Roberts, More Like Trees, Tyde, Jack Mcneill & Charlie Heys, The Jaywalkers, Harpeth Rising, and Niall Teague & the Fast Company, with many more still to be announced.

Tickets

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £85, a youth weekend ticket (aged 12-17yrs) is priced at £45, children aged under 12 weekend tickets are priced at £10. Day tickets are available from 1 July: Friday £20; Saturday £45, Sunday £40. to buy tickets, click here.

Camping is usually included in the festival price.

Campfires

Campfires are not allowed.
