Posivitus Festival takes place in Salacgriva, Northern Latvia on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st July 2012.

It is the largest music festival in Baltics and the two day festival offers festival goers a varied programme of international bands, and up coming European acts.

Nordea stage: King Charles, Lucy Rose, Vondelpark, Iļģi, 2:54.

Palladium stage: The Wow, Black Apple Market, Laime Pilnīga, Rīga Metro, Triānas parks, Astro'n'out, Baložu pilni pagalmi, Galaxy Bosons, Talbot, The Big Bluff, Freaks on Floor.

I Love You stage: Alise Joste, Markas Palubenka, Mimicry, Rasabasa, Tramplīni, Audience Killers, Mācītājs on Acid, Tenfold Rabbit, Zig Zag, Momend.

Nordea stage: Damien Rice, Cashier No. 9, Jamie N Commons, Wild Beasts, Brodka, Kuchenbeat, Fanfarlo.

Palladium stage: Abrahams Cafe, Elephants from Neptune, Animal Drama.

I Love You stage: Eskimo, Sibyl Vane, The Sound Poets, Zebra Island, Elizabete Balčus.

Red Bull Music Academy: Toms Grēviņš, Jesse Boykins III, Sander Molder, Tiger Milk, Mr. Nestor, Oyt, Tiger&Woods, Tom Middleton, Hudson Mohawke, Lunice, Elvi/Dunian.

Tickets are on sale priced at 47 euros (approx £40) with camping or 42 euros (approx £35) without camping. To buy tickets, click here.

The festival also offers other activities besides the main stages - theatre, cinema, plenty of food and drink vendors, and circus.

Getting there

The festival aims to appeal to all European festival goers and offers camping and is only 100 km from Riga by via the Baltica highway E67 and approximately 15km from Estonian border, and 70km from Estonia's liveliest summer resort town Parnu. Riga is also the nearest airport.
