Gwyl Pontardawe Festival is an annual celebration of world music and dance which has taken place every August, with one exception, since 1978.

It has developed from a small essentially Celtic folk music-based event into a Town based Festival, with free street entertainment, a street food and craft market, and live bands in six venues happening from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th August 2015.
