Pinkpop Festival is an annual rock festival held in the city of Landgraaf, 134 miles from Amsterdam, near the city of Heerlen and situated in the most South bound province of Limburg, Netherlands. It is held annually on the Whitsun weekend (Pinksteren in Dutch, hence the name), the 47th edition will be held from Friday 10th until Sunday 12th June 2016.

The festival has a capacity of 60,000 and three days of music on three stages.

Line-up

The first acts confirmed are headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rammstein, and Paul McCartney. Plus Storksky, Lionel Richie, Major Lazer, Kygo, John Newman, James Bay, Lianne La Havas, James Morrison, Walk Off The Earth, Bastille, The Common Linnets, Years And Years, Douwe Bob, Skunk Anansie, Bring Me The Horizon, All Time Low, Tom Odell, Balthazar, Vintage Trouble, Jamie Lawson, St Paul and The Broken Bones, Graveyard, The London Souls, Slaves, Gary Clark Jr., De Staat, Bear's Den, Skip & Die, One Ok Rock, The Struts, Doe Maar, Waxfiend & Prime ft. Jebroer & Adje, Sevn Alias, Broederliefde, Puscifer, Ghost, Skillet, Halestorm, Robin Schulz, Nothing But Thieves, Matt Simons, Lucas Hamming, Noisia, Parquet Courts, and The Sore Losers.

Tickets are priced at 195 euros for 3 days including camping, and 95 euros for a day ticket.

Facilities

There are various festival camp-sites near the arena which have toilets, hot showers, supermarkets, Information points, a camping store, a First Aid stand, cash registers and food and drink available.
