Pinkpop Festival is an annual rock festival held in the city of Landgraaf, 134 miles from Amsterdam, near the city of Heerlen and situated in the most South bound province of Limburg, Netherlands. It is held annually on the Whitsun weekend (Pinksteren in Dutch, hence the name), the 42nd edition will be held from Saturday 11th until Monday 13th June 2011.

The festival has a capacity of 60,000 and three days of music on three stages.

Line-up

Coldplay, Kings Of Leon, and Foo Fighters will headline Pinkpop on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday respectively, plus Manic Street Preachers, Elbow, Wolfmother, Simple Plan, Alter Bridge, Two Door Cinema Club, Volbeat, Kaiser Chiefs, The Gaslight Anthem, The Script, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Scouting For Girls, Eliza Doolittle, Cage The Elephant, VersaEmerge, Dazzled Kid, All Time Low, Band Of Horses, Deadmau5, Beatsteaks, Avenged Sevenfold, Graffiti6, Bloody Beetroots Death Crew77, Ash, Justin Nozuka, Tim Knol, Laura Jansen, Graffiti6, Madi, Selah Sue, De Staat, and Lifehouse, Go Back To The Zoo, and Blaas Of Glory, no other acts are confirmed. There will be another announcement on 16th March 16. There will be 3 stages.

Facilities

There are various festival camp-sites near the arena which have toilets, hot showers, supermarkets, Information points, a camping store, a First Aid stand, cash registers and food and drink available.
