Paleo Festival is an annual rock festival held in Nyon, Switzerland, between Geneva and Lausanne, with the Jura mountains as a backdrop. The 40th Paléo Festival Nyon will be held from Tuesday 21st to Sunday 26th July 2015.

The festival offers six days and nights of festivities over 84 hecatres, 230,000 spectators expected, over 170 concerts and shows taking place on six stages, and a total of 180 food, drink and craft stalls on site, Paléo Festival Nyon is easily the biggest open-air festival in Switzerland and one of Europe's major musical events.

Early bird tickets were priced at 245CHF (approx £170) and have sold out.

Facilities

As it is Switzerland then there are the clean, flushing loos and highly organised camping.

Camping

The campsite is open from midday on Monday 22nd until midday on Monday 29th. Access is limited to festival ticket and pass holders. 4, 5 and 6-day passes is also valid as an access pass to the Camping. Children and young people under the age of 16 who are not accompanied by an adult are not admitted to the campsite.

Getting there

The Festival is situated in Nyon, Switzerland, between Geneva and Lausanne. The site is close to the motorway exits of Nyon (11) if you are travelling from Geneva and Gland (12) if coming from Lausanne. The site is also served by decent bus transport and the railway station (L 'Asse stop) which is situated very near the main entrance (train Nyon - St-Cergue - La Cure).
