Øya festival is the largest outdoor music festival in Oslo, Norway and promotes a diverse line up from across the globe.

Now in it's 18th year, Oya Festival has moved from the Medieval Park, to Tøyenparken in Sofienberg, Oslo and happens from Tuesday 9th until Saturday 13th August 2016.

Line-up

Massive Attack, Eagles Of Death Metal, Highasakite, Mastodon, New Order, P J Harvey, Jason Isbell, Lush, Foals, M83, Ane Brun, Jamie xx, Chvrches, Stormzy, Neurosis, Beach Slang, Aurora, Dagny, Band Of Gold, Gundelach, and Erlend Ropstad, Biosphere, Frøkedal & Familien, Electric Eye, and Okay Kaya. In total there are 200+ bands on 4 outdoor stages and in 30 clubs.

Tickets

Tickets were priced at 2609 NOK  (approx £199) week pass (5 days) and have sold out.

Camping

There is camping available nearby at Ekeberg Camping and the festival site is a ten minute walk from Oslo Central Station.

On site

Øya will close the main street between all three areas and join the two parks to become one huge area.

Øya is the most environmentally friendly festival in the country, boasting 100% ecological food and green ethics.
