Out Of The Ordinary Festival 2007

Out of the Ordinary will last for three days from Friday 21st to Saturday 23rd of September, and is set in the woodland of the Sussex downs.

The festival bills itself as a 'community festival of discovery, celebration and family fun', and aims to inspire positive change in our daily lives.

There will be live and acoustic bands, DJ's & local performers,drama, poetry, song and dance, discussions, demonstrations, workshops, campaigns, films, circus skills, fire dancing, drumming workshops, an ethical market, local foods, wines and ales, and a dedicated children's area.

Live acts confirmed to play the festival include Small White Light, Kiyomori, Turning Green, Evil Genius, The Death Kit, Drookit Dogs, Jack Psychosis, Yer Momma, Herbal Love, JEB, Dates, Contrabanned, The Howling, Extravagatron, The Off Cuts, Sak-Less Jack, The Lovely Brothers, and Toe-String.

Performing acoustically will be Le Band Extraordinare, Adam Kidd, Andy Walker, The Beautiful word, The Great Park, Maya, and Milton.

The event will be powered by the wind and sun, with a zero waste policy, and there will be plenty of opportunities for communities and individuals to play their part in slowing climate change.

There will also be a stone circle built, which will be aligned to catch the rays of the sun at sunset on the equinox and will be dedicated to world peace.
