A statement on the website states:

"Due to licensing issues, By The River festival in Henley-On-Thames has been cancelled. All of our events are produced to the highest standard and we work closely with local authorities to ensure our events achieve this aim. We will continue to minimise the impact and maximise the benefits of all.

By The River is a new one-day classical music festival, held on Temple Island Meadows, Henley-on-Thames - on the Buckinghamshire side of the river.

Line-up

Confirmed are Alfie Boe, Sir Karl Jenkins, Miloš, Laura Wright, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Voices and the Royal Marines Band. 

Tickets

Tickets are on sale, priced at £55 for an adult, and £30 for a youth (aged 12-17). Under-12s are free.

There will be food and drink, including a Farmers' Market, and the World Food Village.
