A Different World Festival is a unique Indie/rock festival for young people and adults with any additional need. It will be held on Saturday 6th August 2016 in Reading's Abbey Rugby Football Club.
The aim is to create a mini Reading festival for those that can not access the real thing. Like Reading there will be stalls, entertainment for the day, bars, food court and of course MUSIC there will be eight bands with a mixture of styles from indie, folk rock, rock and acoustic rock to re-create that Reading sound.
Latest additions Little Mammoths, Mellor, Long for the Coast, The Fruitful Earth, The Other Dramas, Raze Rebuild, and Adam Blinston.
Shardlake, Matt Owens, Flashfires, Tom Figgins, Formby, Novellas, Saharas, and Dinosaur Crush.
Tickets are priced at £20.
The day will be structured to meet the audiences needs there will be no flashing lights (though there will be some soft lighting), no pyrotechnics and the music will be loud enough to hear but not uncomfortably loud.
This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in Reading plus the early camping option at the Reading festival itself.
More information will be here when available.
