Milifest has been cancelled. Festival organiser, Nick Smart made a statement saying, "It is with deep sadness we regret to inform everyone that as of today Tuesday 19th May 2015, we have been forced to cancel August’s Milifest 2015 festival. Refunds will be available to all customers at the point of purchase.
"The team has put everything into organising and promoting the festival, and despite healthy ticket sales, we have had to cancel it due to an unexpected and insurmountable legal issue.
"Over the past months we have worked tirelessly to deliver Milifest, but we find ourselves in the position that we are no longer able to do so as a result of this legal issue.
"We do not take this decision lightly and it has been a hard decision to make. We remain convinced the event is something truly unique and exciting in the crowded UK festival sector, and we are truly proud of what we have achieved so far. To that end, we will be back with Milifest2016.
"Ticket holders can claim a full refund through our approved ticket seller, Ticketline – please refer to its website for full details on how to claim: http://www.ticketline.co.uk For all other information regarding the event, please visit the Milifest website: http://www.milifest.co.uk ."
