Stamping Ground Of Americana Festival is a new festival happening at Stonham Barns, Stowmarket, Suffolk and in 2014, (it was due to happen in September 2013), and will now take place on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th May and will be a celebration of Americana, focussing on Bluegrass, Country, Cajun and Appalachian music, featuring an array of highly regarded artists from the American folk scene.
Line-up
Sarah Savoy & The Francadians, and Vagaband are the first acts to be announced.

Alongside the live music, the festival will host displays of classic American cars, motorcycles and commercials from the 30's to the present day, as well as a market place with unique and diverse traders selling all manner of Americana related products including; CDs and DVDs, clothing, food and drink. Audiences will also be treated to themed areas representing, different aspects in American culture from Civil War re-enactment areas to 1940's and 50's themed bars and workshops.
The American Civil War Society will be recreating a living history encampment showing the experiences of military men and their wives.
