Canada Day London takes place at Trafalger Square, in London on Monday 1st July 2013, to celebrate Canada's 146th birthday. Last year saw 90,000 people attended the FREE festivities in Trafalgar Square.

Line-up

Canadian's Arkells, Jann Arden and headliners The Tragically Hip appear on the main stage in Trafalgar Square. The Sheepdogs will be performing in the evening concert which will follow on from an afternoon concert with performances from Old Man Luedecke, Ben Caplan and USS.

The event showcases the best of Canadian music, sport, art, culture, tourism, business, food and drink to Londoners, Canadians and other visitors from all around the world.

There will be plenty of activities throughout the 8th annual Canada Day in London, as this year promises to cater to everyone.

There will be sports throughout the day, including street hockey tournaments run throughout the day on the square.

By the evening, attendees will have been treated to an array Canada's best musical talent. Jann Arden, Arkells and The Tragically Hip will perform in one of London's best loved spaces.

The day offers a more innovative Canada Day concept this year, with firsts in fashion, food and musical highlights this year!.

The nearest tube is Charring Cross.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
