Essexstreetdiversions 2012

For the 10th year the FREE ESSEXstreetdiversions festival returns to the City Centre of Chelmsford on Saturday 29th September with its eclectic mix of street performers and outdoor artists from across the globe!

From 10:30am this international event will be returning with a selection of the most popular acts of the past nine years, plus new shows, to turn Chelmsford into a world of wonderment.

Line-up

Since 2003, over 550 live performances have been presented these range from Artizani's lobsters to the baby vegetables of Plunge Boom; the Spanish Los Fandangos' Musical Box to The Spurting Man from Avanti Display. This year is no exception with an amusing selection of of over 50 international outdoor performances.

The festival will focus on the most popular acts from the past nine years and new shows will be the exception. Myriad UK-based and international theatre companies, such as Plunge Boom, Albedo and Dynamogene, will descend on the new city as part of a special year of celebration.
