Started last year Bookstock Street Party takes place at Leonard Street, Shoreditch, in London's East End, from noon on August Bank Holiday Sunday 26th August 2012.

Line-up

Dub Pistols, We Were Evergreen, Count Skylarkin, Trol23, Mark Archer, Bikini Beach Band, Fleetmac Wood, Chupacabra DJs, Emily Rawson, Reverend Milo Speedwagon, and Normski, and more to be announced.

The Book Club is working on adding even more music and activities for this very special event right in the heart of London's creative East End.

The day is dedicated to music, dancing, dressing up, games, great food and flowing booze – and a whole lot of festival fun besides. Brought to you by Shoreditch venue The Book Club, with two new arenas, and even slicker production and sound for this year.

The FREE event comprises of several arenas, each offering the very best festival experiences. Music comes from live acts, DJs, dance troupes and performers. There's fancy dress, face-painting, temporary tattoos, and all the fun of the fair. Entertainment comes from all corners, where everything has a musical twist – and everyone gets involved. There will also be festival-inspired catering, and The Book Club's special outdoor bar, plus secret, silent, chill-out, and all-out party zones.
