Songlines Encounters Festival 2011

The inaugural Songlines Encounters Festival takes place in London's Kings Place on Thursday 23rd to Saturday 25th June 2011. Curated by Songlines editor-in-chief, Simon Broughton, and in partnership with Ikon Arts Management.

Line-up

Thursday Trio López-Petrakis-Chemirani, She'koyokh.
Friday: Carminho, Ewan McLennan, Circle of Sound feat. Soumik Datta, Arun Ghosh and Taalis.
Saturday: Dessislava Stefanova, Merlin Shepherd (clarinet) and Vasilis Sarikis (percussion), Sväng, Alex Wilson, Simon Broughton, Söndörgo.

The event also offers films, workshops, in conversations sessions, and more.
