Wrongs Covert will be held in the Wensum Valley of North Norfolk, on Saturday and Sunday 30th August. This acoustic/semi acoustic music camp 'mini festival' takes place in ancient woodland and a traditional coppiced setting.

The event will play host to 15+ acts over two days. So far confirmed are Dead Rat Orchestra, Fuzzy Lights, Xenon Codex, Girl in a Thunderbolt, aster Solo, The Dim Goddess, Slightly Offensive Steve, Dumbfoundus, Crunchy Frog, Emily, Mewithothers, Ollie Denney and more luminaries of the acoustic format and talented songwriters and musicians.

Tickets are priced at £20 per person and includes camping, wood, and water throughout the event plus lots & lots of music and a relaxing weekend of music, numbers will be kept down to ensure the event keeps a spacious and secluded feel. Tickets will be available in Norwich agents, Soundclash, St Gregorys chuch in Norwich, and a few other places shortly.

At Soundclash ticket buyers can pay with a card over the phone and Soundclash will send the tickets out to the festival goers address for a minimum booking fee and admin charges of 10% booking fee plus £1 postage do get the ticket sent to them.

The event is in support of Norfolk & Eastern musicians and also the Wensum Valley woodland Conservation Project at Wrongs Covert, an ancient woodland site covering 25 acres along the River Wensum 12 miles NW of Norwich in East Anglia. The event opens at 10:00am Saturday and closes at 9pm on Sunday.

The organisers hope to raise interest and awareness of how a relatively small site can be a haven for much wildlife that would otherwise have nowhere to go.

There will be opportunity to look around and enjoy and learn more about Wrongs Covert and the River Wensum. They hope to combine the nature and music for the perfectly relaxing weekend at the end of summer.

There are many B&B's along the Wensum and also fishing lakes for those that want to stay on before or after in the area.

More information will be here when available.
