Skyfest takes place on Sunday 12th July and is part of the larger Biddulph Festival. The event is aimed at helping to launch a brand new music education and studio complex called Sky Studios.

Hawkwind have been confirmed as the headline act with Forever Never, and Crave in support along with a local battle of the bands finalist.

The evening show will be ticketed and start at 6pm. The festival site is open free of charge during the day from 12pm to 5pm with a line up of local live music, stalls, bar, refreshments and workshops. The local live music will take the form of a 'Battle of the Bands' final, the winner of which will open the evening event for Hawkwind. Sky Studios will be a centre for music having fully equipped rehearsal rooms, analogue and digital recording facilities, venue, restaurant, retail area and giving quality tuition in most instruments, using educational material such as that offered by The Registry of Guitar Tutors, who’s exams are accredited by London college of Music, QCA and UCAS and have honorary patrons of Sir Paul McCartney, Ronnie Wood and David Gilmour.
