The Freestyle Festival has been cancelled. The festival organisers hope to be back with an event in 2010.

Freestyle Festival takes place on Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1st November at Alexandra Palace. This is a freesports festival that encompasses skating, bmx, inline, freerunning, bboy, graffiti and music.

The live music line-up includes on Saturday MxPx, This City, Floors & Walls, Suzerain, FranKo, Firetone, My Preserver, iMMA, and Where's Billy?.

Sunday's line-up includes CKY, Fei Comodo, Starseed, The Crave, Telegraphs, Nixa, Headspace, Stealing Green, and Stewart Mac. With more acts for both days still to be announced.

Freestyle Festival is also giving unsigned acts the opportunity to enter their Main Stage band competition and welcomes Alex Baker from Kerrang! Radio who will select the best bands for the huge opportunity to perform LIVE on the mainstage alongside the headline acts. The Top 50 artists will go up on the Freestyle Festival website for public vote.

Tickets for the festival are priced at £50 for a 2 day adult (16 years old and above) ticket, £30 for a day ticket, a child (6-15 years) 2 day ticket is priced at £35, and a single day £20, with children under 6 years able to go for free. There are also family and evening tickets available. £15 for evening ticket. £80 for family ticket for 1 day or £125 for 2 days. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult. The festival is also running workshops and lessons throughout all the interactive arenas.

Freestyle Festival are working in conjunction with the international humanitarian organization 'Right To Play' who use sport and play programs to improve health and develop life skills for children in 23 countries affected by war, poverty and disease in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and South America.

Please note this is a non-camping event, there are plenty of accommodation options close to Alexandra Palace. Doors open at 11am, the live music starts at 8pm, and the event finishes around 11pm.
