The Celtic Rally Fest takes place at Maker Heights (near Plymouth), Cornwall. It will take place from Friday 1st until Monday 4th May 2009. The theme is to have quality live bands from 1950 to present day, plus classic & custom cars, hot rods, military vehicles, bikes, fireworks and a laser light show.

Bands booked include Levellers, Aswad, Bad Manners, Neville Staple, The Beat, 3 Daft Monkeys, Ryder, Mad Dog Mcrea, The Outsiders, The Rhythm Boys, Crazy Cavan, John Lewis Trio, Furious, Reservoir Cats, Johny & The Roccos, Ragged Trousered Philanthropists, The Hustlers, 50% Potatoe, Racketeers, Southern Soul Machine, German Beerfest Band, and Jamrag. The four tented areas are Big Top 2000 with Bar Lazer, an 80's Big Top with Bar Saigon, and Big Top Cadillac with a 1950's Diner, Bar Raid & Bar Blitz.

There are three ticket options: a Gold Ticket priced at £80 which includes free bar (Saturday night), free food (Saturday night), free camping, and free entry to all tents; a Silver Ticket priced at £60 which includes free camping, and free entry to all tents; or a Day Ticket priced at £30, Children Children aged between 10 and 16 are half price, and children under 10 can go for free.

The festival is situated on top of hill overlooking the Plymouth Sound. It has amazing views in and very beautiful part of the country. Camping is free but there's plenty of Hotels and B&Bs around if you'd prefer. The festival also includes a beer festival which has 150 real ales, ciders, and lagers at £2.00 a pint.
