ThisDay Festival happens on Tuesday 14th October at Royal Albert Hall, London and this year's theme is Africa Rising and will focus on finding 'sustainable solutions' rather than the 'problems' facing Africa.

The festival happens globally with four events held in Abuja, Nigeria; Lagos, Nigeria; Washington, USA; and the Royal Albert Hall, London.

There are no acts confirmed for the London event. This year's line-up will for the four events features performances from Jay-Z, Usher, Rihanna, Mary J Blige, Chris Brown, Youssou N'dour, and more. Also set to appear at the event will be Naomi Campbell, Ozwald Boateng, Chris Aire, Oluchi, Tyson Beckford And Alek Wek. With other acts to be announced shortly and an A-list supporting cast.

Following the overwhelming success of the festival now in its third year, Nigerian media mogul Nduka Obaigbena is taking his brain-child cross-continent. The world-class festival is set to project positive images of Africa by showcasing the renaissance of Africa's music, fashion and the arts. The continent's culture will be on full display as patrons will live the true African experience at every event.
