Sounds in the Grounds which takes place over two days Friday 4th from 4pm and Saturday 5th July from 1pm is held in the grounds of Forcett Hall, near Darlington and has grown from a concert into a festival.

Acts announced so far are the headliners the Foo Fighter's tribute 'UK Foo Fighters', and 'The Bohemians' who perform Queen live. Plus there will be over 30 supporting live bands over the two days including Rock School, Andrew Yeadon, Beggars Bog, Hague, Gin Soaked Boy, The Blind Boys of Richmond, Pip Mountjoy, Aoife, Steam Radio, Fat Medicine, Macloed & Coldwell, Adife, Andrew Yeadon, The Underclass, The Sneakypeeks, Exploding Buddhas, Spirit Levellers, Eppleby School and Clear Blue Skies.

This is a family friendly event, weekend tickets will be £20 (£25 on the gate) and camping will be £5 per person, no matter how many nights you camp - under 13yrs camp free. Day tickets will priced at £10 for Saturday, £15 for Sunday - tickets are not yet on sale. The festival will also have a beer tent, refreshments and breakfast for campers.

As well as camping for families and over 18's, there is also children's music workshops, live entertainment, and back By popular demand this year are Steam Radio with an outdoor Ceilidh. Children's arts and crafts, games and activities will also be run in the grounds of Forcett Hall, three miles west of Scotch Corner.
