The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra presents a brand new series of 8 concerts at Crystal Palace Bowl, offering a contemporary stage and a gradually-sloping natural terrace, every weekend throughout August this summer. Gates open each evening at 5.30pm with the concerts starting at 7.30pm.

Details of the concerts are as follows:
4th August: Opera Gala, an evening featuring much-loved music from operas such as Carmen, Madame Butterfly, and Aida.
5th August: Russell Watson's Summer Spectacular, an evening featuring his operatic hits plus special guest, Natasha Marsh.
11th August: The Music of Dirty Dancing, featuring performers and music from the West End production, and film.
12th August: Tchaikovsky Spectacular, closing with a firework display to accompany the 1812 Overture.
18th August: Bootleg Beatles, over two hours of Beatles music.
19th August: James Bond athemes and songs associated with the world’s favourite spy!
24th August: Sweet Soul Music, featuring the music of Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Otis Reading and many more.
25th August: Last Night of the Summer Proms,featuring orchestral classics and flag-waving favourites.

NOISY KIDS
There's also a FREE family event on Sunday, 19th August from 11.30am until 12.45pm, a concert (suitable for ages 5-12 years) with all 85 Royal Philharmonic musicians. Tickets must be booked in advance. Phone: 020 7608 8813. Gates open at 10.30am.

Tickets for all the other concerts are now on sale. Early Bird discounts will be available until the end of May with special discounts available to local residents.
