Open from 6pm until midnight, Drumming Up Hope is an annual two-day charity festival featuring over 30 artists, held in memory of drummer Michael Bettell who died aged 41 of a brain tumour in September 2004. All money raised goes to Southend hospital where he was cared for.

There are two stages, a main stage and an acoustic stage. This year, the following artists are featured:
