Loose Roots builds on the previous success of the Footloose Festival which last took place in 1999 and aims to bring together percussive dancers, musicians and tutors from America and England exploring the links and breadth of diverse dance styles.

Guests include: Malke Rosenfeld; Jo and Simon Harmer; Sue Torres; Buffalo Gals; Kerry Fletcher; Beverly Smith and Carl Jones; Kerfuffle; Scratch; Chouchenn; One Foot in the Gutter; Geoff Beilby and Steve Ellis along with many more.

Friday night sees Kate Lissauer lead a square dance and award winners will take to the stage in the Saturday night concert as North Cregg's celtic influence comes to the Derbyshire Dales with a set of Irish music and song.

From 1pm - 1am on Saturday there'll be a 12-hour Eurodance Extravaganza taking place with workshops to guide beginners through the very first steps.

On Sunday there'll be more American/Appalachian dance workshops as well as music workshops, a Dance Palace and Showcase.
