Britain has one of the largest Latin American communities in Europe and Latin music has become a new force in popular music and culture, with top Western artists looking to Latin rhythmic styles such as salsa to influence their music. This event aims to bring people from different backgrounds together to celebrate Latin culture and dance.

Building upon last year's success, the Latin Splash is open from 5pm until 10pm and offers performances on the Main Stage from: diva, Omara Portuondo; Louie Vega and his live band, Elements of Life; Oscar DÂ’ Leon; and Gilles Peterson. There will also be performances from top salsa dancers such as Ramon Morales, Johnny Vazquez from LA and Frankie Martinez from New York as well as specialist salsa DJs in the Salsa tent.

The nearest tube station is Clapham Common (Northern Line).
