Last updated: Tue 17th Jun 2003

The festival will showcase half-hour ‘taster’ performances across the city from the city centre to the Imac centre in Cannon Hill Park (near Edgbaston cricket ground) to the Castle Vale artSite ranging from theatre to jazz, opera to dance music, and classical music to ballet, plus many more. There will also be performances on the street – musicians, jugglers, visual artists and stand-up comedians. One of this year’s international highlights will be a parade of Spanish street theatre direct from Barcelona.

There are workshops for children and adults including Salsa dancing, sign singing, DJ-ing, or even henna tattoos. You can even learn opera at the CBSO Centre.

A variety of short films, pop videos, animation, documentaries from directors and artists from all over the west Midlands will be shown at different venues across the city. There will also be art exhibitions, tours and demonstrations.
