The 10th Sounds from the Other City showcasing new music from from Manchester and beyond which takes over Chapel Street, Salford from 3pm to 4am on Sunday 5th May 2013.

The Old Pint Pot: Faktion present an 'Unknown to the Unknown' Label Showcase - DJ Q, Robert Gordon, Walter Ego, Mista Men, DJ Haus, Samrai & Platt, DJ Al, Jah Bricks, Faktion DJ, Wet Play, Gramme, Ruf Dug, Jason Boardman, James Holroyd.
St Phillips Church: Stealing Sheep, Still Corners, Ofei, Greatwaves, Childhood, BiPolar Sunshine.
The Angel Centre: Divorce, Queer'd Science, Die Hexen, Laser Dream Eyes, Ill, Stroke Cat. Plus Red Laser Records DJs (Ste Spandex & il Bosco), TOR DJs & guests, and secret guests TBA on the day via Twitter @trash0ramadjs.

Plus Manchester Scenewipe present Manchester SceneSkype at Islington Mill Gallery, Red Deer Club Secret Sessions in secret spaces, the Volkov Commanders create a performance bazaar, Baptists and Bootleggers host a stage of live ambient improvisation featuring an array of musicians from the around the festival.

As well as music the event will offer art installations, karaoke, spoken word, croquet, yarn-bombing, fine booze and food.

Venues

Venues taking part are expected to include the huge Old Pint Pot, St Philips Church, Islington Mill and Salford University's Peel Hall.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
