The Music and Arts festival, Optimus Alive!10, takes place in Lisbon, the capital of sunny Portugal, between Thursday 8th and Saturday 10th of July, with bands starting at 5pm each day.

Line-up

Headliners Pearl Jam, plus Faith No More, Alice In Chains, Jet, Deftones, Skunk Anansie, Florence + The Machine, Devendra Banhart, Biffy Clyro, LCD Soundsystem, Dropkick Murphys, Gomez, The xx, Moa Morte, La Roux, Simian Mobile Disco, Phoenix, Gogol Bordello, Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, The Maccabees, Bloody Beetroots, New Young Pony Club, Booka shade, Holy Ghost, The Drums, and Gossip are amongst the acts confirmed for 2010. With more yet to be confirmed.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £95 for 3 day weekend pass with camping, or £81 for a weekend ticket, day tickets are priced at £45 for any day. To buy tickets, click here.

Entertainment

With the Tagus River as landscape to explore the festival has arts, cafes, restaurants, as well as music on offer.

Accommodation

There will be camping available at Alive Festival priced at 15 euros for the 3 days, there are also plenty of other accommodation options in the city and festival goers are recommended to book accommodation in Lisbon early.
