A friendly festival offering an eclectic mix of global, roots, trance, dance and fusion. There are two stages, acoustic sessions, stalls, 70 real ales, good food and camping with hot showers also available. The 24th festival takes place from Friday 25th until Sunday 27th May 2012.

Line-up

Wilko Johnson, Hawkwind, and Dub Pistols will headline a line-up of around 40 acts. Also confirmed to appear are The Fallows, Bigtopp, Kasai Masai, Jerzey Street Band, The Old Dance School, Nordic Giants, Oka Vanga, Inter Africa, Celtarabia, Mat Andasun, Avert Francis, Richard Warren, Kellys Heroes, ZZ Birmingham, Moulettes, Stevie - One Bloke One Mandolin, JP Cooper, Something Nasty In The Woodshed, Metheglin, Simon Friend's Seismic Survey, Warsaw Village Band, and Cabbage return once again to the Barn Stage with guests Tarantism, O.V.N.I., Tetchi, Bez23, Purusha, SlackBaba, Si Splat, Hoodwink, and Razzek. Tickets

The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £70 for an adult ticket for the weekend with camping, and £40 for a youth (aged 12 to 16 years) ticket, children aged under 12 go free and do not require a ticket. A campervan/caravan ticket is priced at £25, and a car parking ticket is priced at £5.

Joint ticket offer

For the first time a joint ticket is available for both Bearded Theory, and the Spring Off The Tracks Festival held in Derbyshire on consecutive weekends in 2012 with discounted camping also available to stay during the week between them. A joint entrance ticket to both Derbyshire festivals is priced at £110, and also includes the offer of discounted camping facilities between festivals at the home of Off The Tracks, the Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel, at Castle Donington. Bearded Theory festival takes place from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th May 2012 in the grounds at Kedleston Hall Park a week before Off The Tracks.

Live in vehicles

Caravans and camper vans are catered for (including hook ups).
Note: no dogs allowed (except registered Dogs for the Disabled).

Camping and parking charges at the gate

A weekend ticket purchased in advance will include free camping and free parking for cars, campervans, live-in vehicles or caravans. However if tickets are bought on the gate tickets they will cover admission only. Parking will be charged at £5 per car, or £25 for campervans/live-in vehicles/caravans. Camping will be £5 per person per night. This camping charge will also apply to each person sleeping in a campervan/live-in vehicle/caravan.

Therapies and workshops

In The Orchard at Off The Tracks offers workshops and therapies such as yoga, tuning in, Tai Chi & Chi Kung, Shiatsu, Metamorphic Technique, meditation, and chanting & voice work.
