The dates for 2008 are confirmed as Friday 20th - Sunday 22nd June.

This beach sports and music festival showcases ocean sports alongside live music with acoustic sets on Friday, and live bands from noon on Saturday until 11pm and on Sunday until 9pm. This year's line-up is yet to be announced.

Former pro-surfer turned singer songwriter Donavon Frankenreiter, the original surf-muso-meister, will headline the 10th anniversary of the GoldCoast Oceanfest

There's also a trade village with licensed bars and restaurants, demos, exhibitions, sampling, simulators and hospitality.

Now in it's 10th year, one of the major aims of the GoldCoast Oceanfest is to highlight the oceansports industry, create awareness for ocean-related causes and to encourage corporate participation in conservation.
