Celebrating the convergence of visual and audio art, Noise of Art festival focused on the current resurgence of silent movies, brought up to date by DJs and techno producers creating club soundtracks for the films from the bfi's Mitchell & Kenyon Collection.

Noise of Art eventually became a cross platform collective that celebrates the convergence of music and other artistic disciplines brought about by the digital age with events throughout the year, and dropped the festival format.
