The New Forest Folk Festival takes place at Plaitford near Romsey which is on the edge of the New Forest from Wednesday 3rd until Sunday 7th July 2019.

Line-up

Acts confirmed for 2019 so far include Gigspanner Big Band, Oysterband, Ashley Hutching Morris On, Ralph McTell, 3 Daft Monkeys, The Sandy Denny Project, Merry Hell, Urban Folk Quartet, Banter, Jez Lowe & the Bad Pennies, Richard Digance, and more with more to be announced. Lines & Squares Poets will perform each day during changeovers.

Tickets are on sale, currently priced as follows:-
5-day (Wed-Sun) adult with camping: £105
5-day (Wed-Sun) child aged 5-15 with camping: £47.50
under-5s: free
adult day ticket: £35
children aged 5-15 day ticket: £17.50

More info

Wednesday: the campsite will open at 12.00pm and arena open from 6.00pm. Highlights for this evening include Morris Dancers and sing-around’s plus a barbeque around the bar/workshop marquee area.
Thursday arena opens at 10am and closes 11.30pm. Thursday will be a full day centred around the bar fringe marquee with sing-around’s, and local bands.
Friday/Saturday/Sunday arena opens at 10am and closes 11.30pm. Three days full of music from the main stage, and workshops from the new Fringe marquee.
