Eco-friendly

Meadowlands aims to make the festival's carbon footprint as near to zero as we can by using cutting-edge technology to deliver both solar and bio-fuel energy to the stages, tents and bars as well as all of the facilities at the event.

Expect Comedy from Bang Said the Gun, and Spoken Word, 'home-cooked' food, a dedicated childrens arena and nappy changing area, street traders, bars, a restaurant serving Sunday lunch, light shows and interactive entertainers, luxury toilets, cafe bar in the comedy tent (with cabaret style seating), free camping and more.

Changes in 2012

The festival site will be moved to include a woodland area of the Glynde Estate. In a clearing amongst the trees there will be a permanent fire structure. The woodland area will be home to the new Chapel Stage.

This year two thirds of the toilets will be luxury facilities, with 24 hour cleaning attendants. There will also be toilet facilities in the camper van field.

A dedicated team will be organising the children's workshops and organisers promise a more varied choice of food stalls.

In 2012 the festival will offer six club nights over the three days, ranging from classic house to glitsch.

More information will be here when available.
