The 16th Maryport Blues Festival will take place from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th July 2014 with a main marquee returning to Maryport Rugby Club and there are also plans for an outdoor stage, still to be confirmed, but expected to be near the centre of the town.

Line-up

Main Stage:
Friday: Eric Sardinas, Ryan McGarvey, The Nimmo Brothers.
Saturday: Coco Montana, Blues Boy Dan, The Deluxe, Laurence Jones, Lavendore Rogue, Layla Zoe.
Sunday: Danny Bryant, Buck and Evans, Dan Burnett, James Harman + Dana Dixon.

Trail acts:
Sparo and the Yahs, Half Deaf Clatch, Wooden Horse, Absolution, Mark Harrison Duo, Blacktop Deluxe, TJ & the Suitcase, Kat & Co, GT Boos Band, Little Devils, Richard Townend, Bonnie Mac Band, T Belly, Poorboy, Street Corner Blues, The Mighty Boss Cats, Elvis Fontenot, Rosco Levee and the Southern Slide, Hexmen, Snakewater, Alex Mckown Band, Brian Rawson, Cindy Hoten, and Trevor Sewell.

Outdoor Stage:
Saturday Headliner The Union, Sunday Headliner Soul City Walkers.
playing over the weekend are Bulletproof Rose, Kat + Co, Soul City Walkers, The Brian Rawson Band, The Pat McManus Band, Jarvier Vargas.

Family Stage: playing over the weekend Gritty Britain, No Idea, The Verdict, Martinys Magic.

The line-up will feature over 40 bands and 150 individual musicians from all over the globe who will be performing on the main stage, in the pubs and clubs.

Tickets will include all-weekend access to the marquee and a trail wristband. The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £70 for full weekend and includes weekend trail wristband. A Friday or Sunday only ticket is priced at £30, and a Saturday ticket is priced at £40.

Entertainment

As well as two main stages there is usually a DJ room, a visual arts and workshop area, a festival club, film programme, children's festival, an expanded market festival bazaar, and a silent disco.

Workshops

The programme of workshops has not yet been announced. Workshops take place on either Saturday or Sunday, start at 10.30am and last one hour. Tickets will be available, priced around £5 each, from The Wave and the Blues Festival Office (The Maritime Museum).

There are also numerous stalls selling musical instruments, crafts and so forth, Fair Trade goods, and information stalls on issues of global interest. Plus workshops include drumming and guitar.

Coaches

Coaches will be running over the weekend transporting festival goers between Maryport and the local towns. Return journeys are available on the Friday, Saturday & Sunday between Maryport and the following towns: Carlisle, Wigton, Aspatria, Keswick, Cockermouth, Egremont, Cleator Moor, Whitehaven and Workington.
