THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Llama Festival has been cancelled.

A statement from Llama Festival says:
"Firstly we would like to thank everyone that has supported the Llama Arts and Music Festival this year. We have worked hard to create another great festival for everybody. Tickets have been selling steadily but slowly and we understand that there are more people still expecting to buy tickets between now and the festival. However we have not sold enough tickets yet or at a fast enough rate to pay the considerable costs of the festival.

We the LLAMA team are deeply disappointed but have decided that, as there is no guarantee we will be able to cover all our costs this year, we have no choice but to cancel the Festival now so that the many people involved can make alternative plans. Please accept our sincere apologies.

As a committee there is nothing more we would love to do than have the spirit and set up of the old festival, where it was free to enter and wonder from venue to venue. However due to the new licensing restrictions placed upon us this is just not possible anymore. The only way LLAMA can operate like this was if someone is willing to burden the cost personally and pay everything not covered by festival sales.

Of course, we will refund all ticket monies in full. Most people have paid via Paypal but please allow up to May 24th as all the refunds have to be processed separately and manually. If you have paid in cash or by cheque we will refund it in the same way you paid.
."
====================
Llama Festival is an arts and music festival taking place against a stunning coastal backdrop in one of the UK's most unique settings. The music weekend offers a great and varied line-up of national and local bands, over the weekend of Friday 7th until Sunday 9th June 2013.

Line-up

The first acts confirmed are Dodgy, Tankus the Henge, Thea Gilmore, and Gabby Young & Other Animals.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £25 for anyone aged over 12 years old. There's also a £12 Friday only ticket, a 2 day Saturday & Sunday ticket priced at £18, and a family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children priced at £70. Those aged under 12 can attend free. A campsite pass (ages 5+) is priced at £14. A festival parking pass of 3 days in the park and ride car park is priced at £15. Car drivers are encouraged to drop off passengers to the festival site where possible and use the shuttle bus to get between the car parking and the main site. A shuttle bus pass priced at £6 allows unlimited use for the duration of the festival.

Talks & Workshops

Expect activities like Choir Singing, Exmoor Coast (Kester Webb), GM Crops (Hector Christie), Homeopathy, Learn Irish Dancing, Permaculture, Photography Tips, Poetry, Raw Food, Stop Hinckley, and Zumba.

Over three days the quirky twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth are filled with music. The main stage and festival site is set overlooking the sea and Lynmouth Bay, featuring a pleasant and diverse range of bands, musicians, as well as spoken word artists, workshops and comedy. The festival is very friendly, relaxed and family friendly. Elsewhere around Lynton & Lynmouth there is also a small fringe, with music in pubs and others playing on street corners, all helping contribute to the ambiance.

Dogs

Dogs should be kept on a lead and please please clean up any mess they make straight away.

Accommodation

This isn't an on-site camping festival, but festival camping passes are available for off site camping. These must be booked at the same time as your festival tickets. It will not be possible to turn up and pitch a tent without booking in advance.

More information will be here when available.
