Leeds is combined with the simultaneous Reading Festival, and so you'll find news items relating to both festivals here.

The line-up includes the headliners of Iron Maiden, Pixies, and Foo Fighters, along with Marilyn Manson, The Killers, Kings of Leon, Incubus, Queens of the Stone Age, Razorlight, and many more over a total of seven stages - see here for the details. There's a new stage for Leeds this year - the Lee Sounds Unsigned Stage.

Note that campers wishing to arrive on the Wednesday must buy an "early entry permit". The cost is £10. Weekend and day tickets are sold out

Children under 13 (12 and under) are admitted free but MUST be accompanied by a ticket holding adult. Please note there is no seperate children's area at this event.

On site facilities include: Bars, Cash Points, First Aid & Paradmedics, Food & Non Food Stalls, Information.

Sponsors Carling will be operating a warm beer exchange, where they'll replace any unopened cans of warm beer with a cold Carling, from 10am until 5pm from Thursday until Sunday on the Campsite Villages. There's around 100,000 can available for exchange across both the Reading & Leeds sites.
