Kelvedon Festival 2011

This one day FREE community festival, now in its thirteenth year has grown bigger and bigger over the years and there are now two stages including the original truck stage. The festival takes place at The Recreation Ground, at The Chase just off Kelvedon High Street on Saturday 9th July 2011.

Line-up

Acts confirmed are headliners The Blockheads. They will be supported on the main stage by Automatic Slim, Exposé, Housework, Surfquake, About Eight, Who's Driving? Bear's Driving!, and Broken Heads and compered by Tony Winn. The Essex Rocks stage will feature eight of the county's rock bands with TheOverwrought, the 633, Jorneta Stream, Drive Through Therapy, TheStrangerhood, Animal Noise, Gulls, and topping the bill We Are Embassy.

Musicians are predominantly Essex-based and there will also be various street entertainers.

On site

There is a craft fair in a marquee, a barbecue, and a beer tent plus other hot and cold food and drink.
