Folklore is the latest addition to Jersey's live music calendar from the team behind Jersey Live. With a capacity of just 5,000 on each day, an eclectic and imaginative bill of alternative live music, comedy, theatre, poetry and film will be on display in relatively intimate surrounds, across two stages at People's Park on Jersey, in the Channel Islands, off the coast of France, on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July 2012. Subject to the organisers gaining the Bailiffs permission.

Line-up

The first acts are headliners Van Morrison and Ray Davies, also confirmed are Wanda Jackson, Joan Armatrading, Nouvelle Vague, Lee Scratch Perry, Badly Drawn Boy, Finley Quaye, Jake Bugg, Lloyd Yates, Rodriguez, and John Cooper Clarke, with many others to be announced.

On site

Alongside the main stage the festival will also feature a second stage hosting comedy, acoustic acts, theatre, film, poetry, and literature. There will be an arts & crafts area, an organic food village, holistic healing village, and a kids creative playground.
