The Inter Varsity Folk Dance Festival (IVFDF) is the UK's longest running folk festival offering a series of concerts, ceilidhs and barn dances from a selection of folk artists.

The 65th IVFDF takes place from Friday 26th until Sunday 28th February 2016, due to a lack of suitable on-campus venues organisers are holding the festival in Coventry city centre.

Line-up

Latest additions Les Zéoles, Folkus Pocus, and University of Warwick Folk Society Ceilidh Band.

The first acts announced were Steamchicken, Peeping Tom, Blast From The Past, and The Night Before.

The festival is aimed squarely at students (although anyone who feels they can keep up is welcome) and run by a different university each year. IVFDF is a non-stop weekend based (fairly broadly) around traditional forms of music and dance.
