The Inter Varsity Folk Dance Festival (IVFDF) is the UK's longest running folk festival offering a series of concerts, ceilidhs and barn dances from a selection of folk artists.

The 63rd IVFDF takes place from Friday 28th February until Sunday 2nd March 2014, at various venues in Edinburgh.

Line-up

Friday: Norman Mackay's Ceilidh Experience, Climax Ceilidh Band.

Saturday: The Night Before, Iain MacPhail Band, Vertical Expression, Ceilidh Me Sotfly, Climax Ceilidh Band, Angles, Bal Folk, Parasol, Open Stage Concert

Sunday: Scratch Band

The festival is aimed squarely at students (although anyone who feels they can keep up is welcome) and run by a different university each year. IVFDF is a non-stop weekend based (fairly broadly) around traditional forms of music and dance.
