Ireby Music Festival takes place over the over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th May 2016.

Now in its 14th year, a wealth of folk music, workshops and sessions happens at various venues in this small village over the weekend, including St James Church, The Globe Hall, The Lion Pub, and the 600 capacity heated marquee at Ellenside, a private mansion with views towards Skiddaw and the Caldbeck fells, this is where the main stage, bar and food outlets are situated.

Line-up

The first acts confirmed are Kate Rusby, Coco and the Butterfields, Luke Jackson Trio, The Jar Family, The Swing Commanders, The Changing Room, Talisk, The BeauBowBelles, Wes Finch, Weikie, Jimmy Aldridge and Sid Goldsmith, Elaine Davidson, Will McNicol and Luke Selby, Chapin-Wickwar, The Wes Finch Band, Susan Grace Bates, Jaywalkers, Sunjay, Ian Douglas, Ben Gates Sound Sculptures, and Ireby Village Singers.

Weekend tickets have sold out. A weekend only ticket was priced at £57 per adult and £20 for a teen aged 12 to 17 year old. Children aged under 12yrs are free. Some day tickets, and other options are still available.

Camping

Camping is worked out per tent/campervan or towing van, prices have nare £20 for 2 days (Friday & Saturday), or £25 with Sunday too.

Getting there

Ireby is situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park, 13 miles north of Keswick and 18 miles south west of Carlisle.
