Postponed due to the severe winter weather conditions the inaugural Honeyfest now takes place at the 200 year old Barge Inn pub in Wiltshire on Saturday 16th April 2011 from 1pm until 1am.

Line-up

Laura Marling, The Magic Numbers, Damien Rice, Martha & Arthurs, Dry The River, and also featuring Battle of the Bands winners Slagerij and Matthew Kilford. Gabby Young & Other Animals will be unable to perform at this years Honeyfest.

Tickets were priced at £35, and have now sold out.

Villagers from around the Vale of Pewsey, in Wiltshire, have been awarded a £433k grant through Village SOS to take over their local pub, the Barge Inn. Honeyfest is a unique all-dayer is the first of its kind for the area and will help the villagers in their mission to rejuvenate the social hub of the village.

Honeyfest is part of the Barge Inn Community Project, which is funded through Village SOS; a joint venture between BBC1 and the Big Lottery Fund which is supporting villages across the UK to start up new business ventures that rejuvenate rural and village life. As well as supporting the Barge Inn Community Project.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
