Homelanz Festival celebrates Southern Hemisphere music under a Northern sky, and the third edition takes place at Boston Manor Park, London on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th August 2013. Aussies, Kiwis and South Africans will reminisce about home and the rest of the world can enjoy an authentic Southern Hemisphere experience – all in a friendly, convenient, leafy corner of West London.

Line-up

All the musicians on the main stage and DJs in the Silent Disco come from the three nations ­ either living locally or internationally. Performances from organisations like Ngati Ranana London Maori Culture Group ­as well as a chill out area, rugby bus and kids zone ­ keep everyone entertained throughout the day.

Homelanz this year hosts Zimfest with a line-up including Blue King Brown, I Am Giant, Thabo & The Real Deal, Desmond & The Tutus, What Now, Tahuna Breaks, Aaron Manatsa & The Green Arrows, Munkinpure, Tafi Mushuki, Rymez, Jakob Deist,Ngata Ranana, Bowie Jane, Glen Aitken, This Flight Tonight, Ny Oh, Mooga Fooga, Abby Holden, and Steve Gander. Plus DJs Samanatha Blackburn, Musiq Ave, Mister Cee, DJ Mujay, Swift Tee, Jayne Wilkins, Adi Dick, Damian Tommy, Dave Smallwood, JP Kairo, and more. 

The Nomad pop-up Cinema will also be on site screening Priscilla, Queen of the Desert on the Homelanz site on the Friday 9th August.

Homelanz will also offer Southern Hemisphere food, beer and wine. Various UK restaurants known for their authentic Southern Hemisphere cuisine will be at the festival, including many owned and managed by internationally-renowned chefs. And wine exhibitors will be showcasing the wonderful diversity of the regions, with a number of smaller producers as well as the big names.

Accommodation

There is no camping on offer but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
