Dorset’s most chilled out music festival, Grooves on the Green is to celebrate its 15th anniversary this year, returning to Ashley Cross, Poole in Dorset on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July 2015.

Grooves on the Green runs from noon until 7pm with music on two stages, a local beer and food festival, kidzone and mini film festival. Now in its 15th year

Line-up

The Main Stage is headlined by Baker Brothers on Saturday, with G13, Afro Tallawah, Sunstone Collective, Kaia and Krista Green & the Bees also appearing. Sunday’s headliner Mutant Vinyl is playing his only local show of the year at Grooves. He’ll be appearing with Duveaux, Signals, Not Made In China, Fearne, and Wikkaman.

Appearing on the Calling Stage will be Klaudia, Kirsty Lowless, Lee Rasdall-Dove, The Daisie Ukuladies, Plastic Jeezus, and The Power Thief, among others.

The Calling Stage will be hosted by Si Genaro, fresh from his recent appearance on The Voice.

Tickets

Grooves on the Green runs from noon until 7pm each day and early bird tickets are on sale from Le Bateau, Ashley Cross.

Tickets are priced at £5 per person per day over 18 years of age, U16 £3 & children under 5 are free but must be accompanied by an adult.

As in previous years £1 from every ticket sold will be donated to Dorset disability charity, Diverse Abilities Plus, which helps children and adults in Dorset who live with profound disability, and has received more than £9,000 over the last two years from its association with Grooves on the Green.

This community event offers music on two stages with other attractions including sports on the Green, alternative therapies and the popular Kidzone with lots of activities to keep the youngest groovers happy, and more.

There’s also a regional beer and food festival with a wide range of local crafts beers and ciders from Dorset breweries including Sunny Republic, Bournemouth Beer Company and Purbeck Cider.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
