The Groove Loch Ness return with a second edition of their sister event - Groove CairnGorm 2017 takes place from Friday 24th and Saturday 25th March at Natural Retreats Cairngorm Mountain, in Scotland and is the UK's first resort based snowsports festival .

As well as regular snowsports, the event takes place over the same weekend as the Scottish Freestyle Championships, so expect to see some of the country's top riders grabbing some big air during the day.

Line-up

The line-up will feature Basement Jaxx (DJ set), Craig Charles with his Funk and Soul Club, Blonde, Mike Skinner (DJ Set), The 2 Bears composed of Joe Goddard (Hot Chip) and Raf Rundell, Horse Meat Disco, Mark Mackenzie, Hunter and The Bear, Indigo Velvet, and Ho-Ro.

The final few acts for the Apres-ski element will be announced in the coming weeks along with the full line-up of entertainment taking place up the mountain throughout the weekend across 2 stages..

Tickets for Mountain Snowsports + Apres-ski Big Top Entertainment 2 Day ticket is priced at £115 (Fri/Sat) 3 Day - £140 (Fri/Sat/Sun). Apres-ski Entertainment Only (Fri/Sat) 2 Day ticket is priced at £65

Shuttle Busses

Busses will operate between Inverness and Aviemore. Free shuttle busses will be provided for festival goers between Aviemore and the Cairngorm mountain for the snowsports during the day along with free shuttle bus transport from the mountain and Aviemore to and from Badaguish. Shuttle busses will also be operating between Inverness and Badaguish for those who want to attend the music element only. These will depart Inverness from 3pm and return from Badaguish at 1am each day costing just £15 for a return bus ticket.

There will be snowsports and entertainment each day up on the mountain, followed by apres ski with live music and world class DJs until the early hours in a big top in Aviemore. The apres ski portion of the event will happen at Badaguish Outdoor Centre.
