This festival, now in its 33rd year, is set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, just north of Skipton, and offers a wide variety of events - from jazz, folk, gospel and classical music performances to 'celebrity evenings' and exhibitions, workshops, theatre and puppetry taking place from Friday 14th to Saturday 29th June 2013.

Line-up

Hope & Social, The Beat, The Swingle Singers, Shooglenifty, Dales Jam, The Biedermeier Ensemble, Jack Dee, New Egham Singers, Skipton Music Centre Big Band, Holy Moly and the Crackers, and Blackbeard's Tea Party.

They join Jools Holland, Black Dyke Band, The Orchestra starring ELO, and Levellers.

There will also be Theatre & Dance, Poetry, Talks & Storytelling, Visual Arts, Film, Arts and Crafts Market, Workshops and walks, Leeds Art Gallery picture lending collection, Bring your own wheels, Food and drink events, and Schools Workshops.

Most performances take place in a Festival Marquee with fantastic views across the Dale providing an uplifting end to the festival fortnight. Other gigs take place at local pubs and churches and there is music and street theatre in the Town Square.
