Graspop Metal Meeting is a metal festival held at the festival park De Boeretand in Boeretang, Dessel, Belgium, located approximately 50km northeast of Antwerp (Belgium) and 35km southwest of Eindhoven (the Netherlands).
The first Graspop Metal Meeting was organised back in 1986 as a local pop festival with mainly local acts. Two decades later, Graspop has evolved from a small-scale family affair to a major metal event, playing host to international metal artists and attracting over 100,000 metal fans.
